Up here, "the County" means Aroostook. Potato fields, long roads, the top of the map. The coast is the other end: granite, fog, and twenty-foot tides. Everything between the two is Maine, and that's where this box comes from.
Every month, one spot on that map gets a shirt. A new design, drawn for that place and that season, printed and pressed in Princeton on a heavyweight Comfort Colors 1717. Members only. It never goes in the store, and when the month closes it's gone.
Riding along with it is one more thing made in Maine. Usually that's us: a piece of leatherwork from our own bench, cut from the same hides as our wallets. Sometimes it's another maker from somewhere along the way. The card in the box tells you where you are on the map this month and why we picked it.
